Carl Walters is a life-long resident of the South Carolina Lowcountry. He learned the value of teamwork at an early age by working on the family farm in Reevesville, SC.

His father passed down the Walters family tradition of respect for the land by telling Carl what his father had told him many times over the years: “Take care of the land and the land will take care of you.”

Carl brings the these values of teamwork and respect to each of his real estate transactions.

His growing up in the area as well as his 30+ years in lending have given him a unique insight into the properties and the people of Dorchester, Orangeburg, Colleton, Berkeley and Charleston counties.

Service to his community has always been important to Carl. Over the years he has served on the Trident Economic Development Board, Dorchester County Economic Development Board, Dorchester Aeronautics Board, St. George Rotary Club, Town Council of Reevesville, St. George Downtown Revitalization Committee, Dorchester Academy Board of Trustees Ex-Officio, Harmony Lodge #61(Mason), St. George Safety Patrol, and Omar Shrine Club (Shriner).

Carl’s broad range of interests have led him to obtain a degree in Civil Engineering and to become a graduate of Commercial Lending School, Retail Lending School and the South Carolina Bankers School.

He has also received his South Carolina Broker's License for Real Estate, REO and Foreclosure Specialist Certification and BPO Certification.

In his free time, Carl enjoys being a private pilot, amateur radio operator, quail hunting, dog training, helping people in his community and spending time with his family.
